Focus Items allow the Cabalist to channel the raw energy drawn from the Well of Midnight. Because they are the tool that gives the power form, the type of damage inflicted is based upon the individual Focus Items. Well crafted items are also capable of bestowing abilities such as improved damage and decreased Power requirements for spells.
